Dr. Sari Fine Shepphird is a clinical psychologist, eating disorders specialist, author and speaker with nearly twenty years of experience in the area of eating disorders. She maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California, where she treats the full spectrum of eating disorders and provides expert consultation about eating disorders to the media. Dr. Shepphird’s new book, 100 Questions and Answers about Anorexia Nervosa was released in January, 2009 to enthusiastic and extremely positive reviews. She is also a Medical Health Expert Blogger for Wellsphere.com, a Health Blogger for Encyclopedia Britannica Online, and the author of Treatment Notes, a Weblog for professional treatment providers who wish to learn more about eating disorders. Dr. Shepphird is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the California Psychological Association and is active in the leadership of several other mental-health-related organizations.
